This was a three-day conference dedicated to the attributes of God, and it was absolutely wonderful. Paul Washer’s three messages on the holiness of God were both sound and zealous. Mike Durham handled the justice of God mainly by discussing the necessity of the cross to deal with sin and also the righteousness of God as our heavenly judge. Romans 9 was the primary text for dealing with the sovereignty of God; Mack Tomlinson dealt with the topic simply but passionately. When Jeff Noblit explains the truth of God, he deals with God’s own existence and also His integrity, mainly from Romans 3:1-8. The message on the wrath of God was preached by Charles Leiter with tears in his eyes and power in his words, in blood earnest, the only way the doctrine should be preached. Mike Morrow, on the love of God, combined biblical teaching with ready application. Charles Leiter was given another set of messages on the glory of God in the face of Christ, a truly glorious presentation of the divine nature of Jesus. The final message was a true gift from God, as Bob Jennings gave a mighty call to seek the God whom we love. All Christians must grow in the knowledge of God, and this conference was designed to help meet that need. These messages can also help to show non-Christians the God we serve, if they are willing to listen to ten messages.
